LET : The Wave of the Future for Naturally Better Health and Extended Life?
The science behind our Lipo-Capsulated products is Liposomal Encapsulation Technology (LET). Liposomes were discovered by Alec D. Bangham in 1961. For the first 25 years or so, although extremely effective but very costly to produce, Liposomes were employed almost exclusively by medical researchers who need to deliver particular drugs, dyes or other therapeutic agents to specific tissues. However, recently exciting new ways to produce high quality Liposomes that can apply this long proven nanotechnology to everyday supplementation has become feasible. The medical research world (and so are we) is abuzz with excitement about the possibilities LET and it is often referred to as the Wave of the Future for better health and extended life.
Our Lipo-Capsulated supplements utilize Liposomal Encapsulation Technology (LET). LET has revolutionized how well nutritional supplements can be used by the body. Essential Phospholipids create Liposomes that encapsulate and protect nutrients from digestive enzymes and deliver them directly into your cells for optimal nutritional benefit throughout your body. This is what makes LET such a convenient, natural, safe, gentle and extremely effective nutrient delivery method.
Our Lipo-Capsulated nutritional supplements are in a convenient once-daily liquid format and ensure you maximum benefit from each nutritional dose without the negative side effects and wasted cost associated with non-absorbed nutrients.
LET – How Does It Work?

Liposomal Encapsulation Technology (LET) utilizes essential phospholipids, the building blocks of every cell membrane of your body. With millions of phospholipid molecules required for each cell membrane, the number of these molecules in your body is almost incomprehensible. However, they literally enable life as we know it by making it possible for cells to exist and the body to grow and function. How phospholipids work and form our cell membranes is very elegant and even referred to as miraculous.
In the presence of water phospholipids can form submicroscopic bubbles called Liposomes. Liposomes are about 1/25th the size of a red blood cell, or alternatively put, 100 million of them could fit into a single drop of blood. Submicroscopic in size and naturally containing only essential phospholipids, Liposomes are welcomed by the body and effortlessly travel through your digestive, lymphatic and circulatory systems.
Our Liposomes are created using a class of essential phospholipids called Phosphatidylcholine (pronounced FOSS fah tie dal KO lean), sourced from the highest quality non-GMO sunflower oil lecithin. We introduce our Phosphatidylcholine into a water solution saturated with nutritional supplement molecules such as Vitamins, Glutathione, Electrolytes or Curcumin. Then, our proprietary all natural cold structure process forms these Phosphatidylcholine phospholipids into all natural, and accurately sized Liposomes packed with the nutritional supplement molecules of the saturated solution in which they have been formed.
So, What Makes it Better?

The Quick Answer – Naturally Superior Bio-Availability.
Absorption is the movement of nutrients or medications into the bloodstream, while bio-availability is the extent to which nutrients or medications are able to be used by the body at a cellular level. Alternatively put, absorption is nutrients getting into your bloodstream and bio-availability is nutrients actually getting into your cells where they are needed. Therefore, it is supplement bio-availability as well as a product’s rate of absorption that is important to successfully improving your health through supplementation. Liposomal Encapsulation Technology (LET) is a true game changer for better health in both of these areas.
Traditional nutrient pills, powders and liquids must survive your digestive tract in order to potentially be absorbed into your bloodstream through the small intestine. Then, once in the bloodstream, nutrients then have to be successfully absorbed by the cells of your body for them to become truly bio-available and begin providing their intended benefits for better health. It is well documented that the bio-availability of traditional pill, powder and liquid nutritional supplements are quite low – most less than 20%. Furthermore, malabsorption (due to age or some chronic health conditions) can make absorption through the small intestine very difficult and in some cases impossible.
Factors that lower supplement bio-availability include:
- Moisture, oxygen and other factors in the environment
- Enzymes and digestive juices in the mouth and stomach
- Bile salts in the intestines
- Friendly and unfriendly organisms in the intestines
- Food and drug interactions in the digestive system
- Additives, coatings, binders, fillers, sugars, colors and flavors added to enhance packaging or facilitate swallowing
- Incomplete assimilation due to partial or non-breakdown of tablet or capsule into small enough particles for uptake in the intestines
- Limited transport and co-transport mechanisms of the small intestine space to facilitate molecule absorption into the bloodstream
- Limited transport and co-transport mechanisms of cell membranes to facilitate molecule bio-availability into cells
How Do Our Lipo-Capsulated Products Overcome these Problems?
- Liposomes protect substances from the harsh environment of your digestive tract – enabling you to absorb pure, non-degraded nutrition. Furthermore, Liposomes also protect the substances they carry against interactions between foods, other supplements or drugs that can also reduce, degrade or alter the desired outcome of your supplements.
- Made of phospholipids and submicroscopic in size, Liposomes are recognized by your body as an especially friendly substance. Consequently, they do not rely on and rate or dose limited transport or co-transport mechanisms of the small intestine to absorb into the bloodstream. Liposomes and their nutritional contents, navigate with ease into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes of your mouth, digestive tract and small intestine; resulting in almost perfect absorption of the nutrients they are carrying for your better health.
- Once in the bloodstream, Liposomes effortlessly float throughout your lymphatic and circulatory systems. Along the way they merge with the phospholipid cell membranes of your body depositing their contents directly into your cells; resulting in optimal bio-availability of the nutrients you are taking for more energy, to look and feel younger, and/or live longer.
- Finally, the essential phospholipids molecules of the Liposomes that have merged into your cell walls are utilized by that cell to replace damaged and/or more saturated lipids of that cell wall. This produces a gentle “degreasing” scrub that is manifested throughout the body. As a result, life giving blood moves through the circulatory system more quickly and easily, especially in the tiny capillaries, as the blood becomes less viscous (less thick and sticky) and deformable (able to change shape). Cell membranes return to a more efficient, more fluid state, and hardened saturated fats and cholesterol that have become lodged there are removed and metabolized. Cells throughout the body become more able to resist the damaging effects of free radical attack. The heart, pancreas and liver become energized as their work becomes much easier. Choline levels increase in the brain, which has many positive implications for proper mental function and helps maintain and improve memory.
